Why do we call them "Indigo"?
A lot of people are talking about the coming of new children who are here
to help up make a huge evolutionary leap into a new way of being. Many
of the children are called Indigo Children because they have the colour
indigo as a primary colour in their aura. However, I believe all children,
indeed all people, on the planet now are playing their part in this transition.
What is the difference between individual and combination essences?
As some of you smarty pants out there may already have noticed, some of
the individual essences contain energy from more than one stone and my
pedantic webmaster has asked me to explain my terminology here. Well,
I'll do my best.
The individual essences are named after the name or names of the stones
that helped to make them. They were made before the combination essences.
When they were being made I didn't know exactly what they would be for.
So I called them after the name of the stones.
The combination essence names were chosen mostly by Ben and Mica. We wanted
to have a kind of rescue kit for kids. They worked out a list of things
they wanted essences for. I have to say that Geek Repellent was top
of the list but ....that one became Champion. So, with the combinations,
we started with a name and a theme and then dowsed the existing essences
to see which ones wanted to be in it. The combination essences are more
than the sum of their parts, they all have added extras from the spirit
teams who worked on them.
In a way, the combinations are more user friendly than the individuals
because you will know by the name if you want to take it. Most people
who use essences a lot would work with a full set of the essences and
choose different combinations for themselves as they need them. Our hope
with the combinations is that they will reach kids whose parents are not
so familiar with using essences.
When to use an essence?
This applies to adults as well as kids. Suppose someone says something
nasty to you. It's normal to be upset for a while - but sometimes the
upset lasts for longer and you can't get it out of your mind. Or suppose
there is a test or exam coming up and you can't stop worrying about it.
Or suppose you feel particularly sad or angry and you can't change that
feeling. Usually when we are stuck in an emotion there is a fear in the
background. This is a very good time to take an essence or two.
Fear usually makes us feel very odd in our selves. Wobbly in the tummy
maybe. Or headachy. Or all cold and sweaty. Mostly we've been taught to
feel fear about certain things by our parents & teachers and even
friends. Most fear isn't really real, it's just something that we believe
- like I'll be killed if I fail my exam or I'll die if he doesn't ask
me out again.
Right now it's very important to unlearn fear. Fear is blocking the crystal
children from coming in.
If you are a kid reading this and you feel scared about something - then
know that most fears aren't real. The fears I'm talking about here are
like fear of the dark, fear of not doing well in school, fear of being
bullied, fear of feeling stupid etc.
If someone is hurting you or doing something to you that you don't like
then always talk to an adult who listens to you. Tell them what is happening
in your life. They will help you to change it.
Fear only works on us when we are afraid of it !! If you are scared of
your fears and run away from them or don't look at them - then they will
stay scary.
When you feel scared, take a deep breathe, right down to your toes. Know
that you are surrounded by helpers that you don't always see. Talk to
yourself like the best parent you can imagine. Ask yourself what makes
you feel so scared. Let yourself talk it out, don't stop yourself or say
"Aw, that's stupid." You feel what you feel. And it is possible
to change that as well.
This is where the essences will help you. Choose some. Hold them or put
them on your body in a cream. They will help your energy body come back
into balance. This makes you feel stronger and more OK in your body. People
often call it feeling "centred." You can let go of fear more
easily when you feel like this.
If you don't have any essences just look at the pictures of the stones
on this web site. Stare at the ones you like best. They will help you.
Every time you breathe out, blow out the fear. Breathe in love, breathe
in safety, breathe in strength, blow out fear.
Keep doing this till you feel ok. If the fear you are feeling is very
deep you may need to do this several times over a period of days.
One very good way for adults to let go of fear is to do Inner Child Work.
This often involves working with a therapist. Some people are quite able
and willing to do this work by themselves. Follow the link to a simple
version of what to do.
BUT - don't become a total hypochondriac and run to the essence shelf
(or anything else) the second you feel upset about something. Feel the
upset. Take action if necessary. If you feel it's not passing off - then
look to the essences for help. The idea is that you will work through
your fears until you have none left. Imagine being totally fearless !!
Pretend that you are totally fearless right now. How does that feel ?
How to choose an essence?
The best way is to use your intuition (intuition = inner teacher)
There are several ways you can do this.
Just follow your gut feelings about which essences you need right now
look at the pictures of the different stones and choose the ones you are
most attracted to.
IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR INNER SELF IS SAYING !!!
You know yourself better than anyone else can ever know you. Practice
asking yourself questions and listen for the answers.
Sometimes we find it hard to know what we want, especially when we're
upset. Then it might be useful to use dowsing to connect with yourself.
However, in the meantime, keep practicing asking yourself. You might be
surprised to find out how much you do know.
How many essences should I use at one time?
As many as you feel like taking. Some people say only take about 3 or
4. However, I find it depends on what's going on. If you are going through
a particularly hard time, it may be necessary to take quite a few essences
to help you stay balanced and you may also need to change that selection
quite frequently. If you find that you often have to take a large number
of essences it could be that your physical body is out of alignment and
it would be a good idea to see a body work person like a craniosacral
therapist or a chiropractor.
How do I know when the essences are working?
Usually before you take an essence you will feel uneasy. Sometimes you
won't be breathing right, you won't be able to settle down to anything.
You'll be all over the place. When a selection of essences is working
you will usually feel a calm feeling deep in yourself, even though you
may still be upset. Somewhere deep inside yourself you'll feel peaceful
although you may still feel emotional and cry. You might feel tired and
sleep. You might get a very clear picture of what is going on in your
life, a sudden realization of what is really bothering you. All these
responses are signs that your energy body is coming back into balance
and a healing response is taking place.
When should I stop using the essences?
When you feel like it. I'm not trying to be facetious here. I trained
for years to be a homoeopath. In the old energy, we used to tell people
exactly when to take remedies and exactly when to stop. Not anymore. Now
you are your own healer. Listen to yourself. You have all the answers.
The essences are safe to use and you cannot make a mistake.
What do I do with the different essences I've chosen?
First, decide which way you want to take the essences.
You can either:
Put them in a cream and lather them on your body
Put them in a plant mister or atomiser (ask your mum what that is) and
spray around you and your room. (By the way, never spray essences at anyone
else it's your choice to use them, not theirs.)
Just hold the bottle for a while until you feel better or sleep with the
bottle under your pillow.
So, lets suppose that you want to make yourself an essence cream. This
is my favourite way of using the essences, it feels like wearing an energetic
overcoat.
You'll probably need different numbers of drops of each essence - so .
. . pick up the first bottle and put the first number that comes into
your head into the mix (e.g.. you pick up the bottle, and 5 comes into
your head - use 5 drops of that particular essence.) If you get outrageous
numbers like hundreds and thousands - just have a word with yourself and
say that you'd like the numbers to be up to 10.
Then just mix it all together and rub it into any sore bits of your body.
If you can't feel where to put the cream immediately, think about the
problem and notice where you feel it in your body. Put the cream on as
often as you feel you need it - this can vary from once to many times
in one day. You will know when to stop. You will just notice that one
day that thing isn't bothering you anymore and that you have stopped wanting
to use the cream.
What are essences?
Essences are a form of vibrational healing. Vibrational healing simply
means using the vibration of something to help you heal. Everything has
a vibration. Some vibrations are particularly good for us and some aren't.
e.g. the vibration of a lovely, loving voice = healing, the vibration
of a screaming, mad one = upsetting (in most cases). Sometimes we are
unconsciously drawn to "good vibrations" when we feel upset,
like your favourite dog or a special place.
Putting healing vibrations in bottles and calling them essences has been
around for quite a long while. The first ones were made with the healing
vibrations of flowers, The Bach Flower Remedies and were made in England
in the '30s. The man who made them was a homoeopath first (just like me).
He wanted to make healing more simple. So he invented the flower essences.
He also wanted people to know that they could make their own essences
and told them how. I quite agree with him. It is important that you know
that you can make essences to help yourself and that nobody can ever take
that away from you. (See below for a description of how we make our essences
- then you can try it if you like).
The indigo essences are made with the help of crystal and gem energies.
These have a particularly long-lasting vibration and are very good at
grounding us (they come from deep in the earth) and also at connecting
us with our heavenly selves, (the Christ). Each crystal has a unique story
and can help with a particular problem or indeed, several problems. The
crystals that have volunteered to be indigo essences all have to do with
helping us loose our fears and learn how to love without conditions. They
will also help us absorb the new energies that are coming into the planet
now. These energies are very strong and can make us feel dizzy and spacey
at times but the essences will help you let them into your body (called
grounding them) so that you won't feel too peculiar while this change
is happening. We need to make these changes now because there are a lot
of shimmery new children waiting to be born who only know love and can't
live in a world full of fear and they want us to hurry up and get ready
for them. Our next series of essences, the new energy series will be about
learning to live with this new energy that we'll have after we've let
go of all our fears. We'll let you know when they're ready - watch this
space!
How we make Indigo Essences.
For anyone who has never talked to rocks - you don't know what you're
missing!! And please don't think this is too weird. Just suspend disbelief
while you read this. And you never know, you might end up making your
own essences too.
First, I get an 'intuition' to make an essence with a particular rock
or two.
Then I ask the rocks if this is true. When I made the new child series
in '98 I used to dowse the answers using a pendulum. Now I'm working on
the new energy series mainly just using my intuition.
If the answer is yes then the fun begins. First I call in a special spirit
team of essence making experts and we all plurk (play & work) together
- this is called co-creating. I gather the things we need to make the
essence. A crystal bowl, good clean water, things to make the room nice
like candles and flowers and anything else that feels right.
The spirit of the rock is healed and cleaned so that only it's most pure
and healing vibration goes into the water during the essence making process.
The water is also cleaned and energised. The water is able to take on
the healing pattern of the rocks. (Not so strange - just look at the work
of Masaru Emoto - he's photographed the changes in water crystals when
loving words were said to them).
No two essence making sessions are ever the same. Different rocks ask
for different things. Some want to be put in bowls of water outside in
the sun, some like the moon, some don't want to be put in water at all
and just sit beside the water bowl.
All the time I listen to what I feel and also to what the spirit of the
rock and the essence making team are saying. Mostly I write things down
as I go along. Sometimes I see energies going into the water. Sometimes
I just feel things.
One of the most awesome and unusual sessions was when Ben, Mica and their
friend Jen made the love essence after 9/11. They really wanted to help
the children in the world who aren't listened to and loved. They all dipped
something very special to them into the water bowl ( - don't faint - we
only use a tiny amount of that water in each individual bottle). When
they had finished, they all closed their eyes and put some of the essence
in their hands and sent it around the world to the children who wanted
it. They have lovely stories about what they saw - maybe they'll write
about them some time.
I digress, back to the essence making. When the energies have arrived
in the water then the bowl is left to settle for a period of time. When
it is ready, brandy is added to fix the vibrations in the water and to
stop the water going off. And that's it, an essence is born.
Are essences safe to use without consulting a healthcare practitioner?
Essences in general are very safe to use and do not cause adverse side
effects. However, the information offered on this web site in no way excludes
the necessity of a diagnosis from a health care professional.
Do Indigo Essences cause side effects?
Indigo Essences contain channeled crystal energies, mineral water and
brandy or vinegar as preservative. We advise that you use the essences
topically as per the recommendations above. The active medicinal content
of the essences is an energy pattern and is therefore unlikely to cause
side effects in the recognized sense of the term. However, as the essences
bring your energy body into balance you may experience some changes in
your energy levels. This is especially true if you've been exhausted and
need to sleep. You may also experience transient mood changes as you begin
to release blocked emotions.
Can Indigo Essences be used alongside other therapies?
In my experience, the essences work very well alongside any number of
therapies, including homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, all sorts of counseling
and therapy and all sorts of bodywork.
If you are currently consulting a health care professional, do tell them
about the essences before you use them so that they can adjust their work
with you accordingly.
