BIZ NIZ nit treatment
Biz Niz is a synergistic blend of essential oils in a gentle leave in-conditioner using 100% natural ingredients. It prevents infestation purely by utilising aromas that plants have developed naturally to protect themselves from insect pests. The ingredients are suspended in a 2.75% dilution (non-oil based solution), well below the 3% maximum recommended for the use of essential oils on the skin.
The Biz Niz treatment consists of 4 applications over a 10 day cycle (day 1, day 3, day 7, day 10) which works in conjunction with the life cycle of the head lice, allowing all eggs present to hatch and therefore be combed out before they are old enough to reproduce. The white bits glued to the hair shaft are empty shells. Live eggs are black and are only found very close to the scalp. The conditioner must be left on between treatments. A metal comb is recommended as plastic ones have been found to be useless.
Each bottle contains enough for 3 complete treatments but we highly recommend you use Biz Niz as a preventative leave-in conditioner since it is so gentle and pleasant smelling. Just comb a small amount through the hair prior to setting off for school each morning! Each bottle contains approximately 6 months worth of repellent.
