The large and beautiful tree in a wood near Beth Tyers’ house had been calling her for some time with its uplifting message. She would often drink the blossoms as tea and go to sit by the tree for comfort and to meditate. On the morning she made the essence, she was in the fi eld below its branches, just outside the boundary of the wood. She felt extraordinarily blissful and light-hearted. As she sat there, a farmer came in his noisy tractor to take in the crop. She felt both embarrassed and in the way, sitting there meditating in the corner. However, he genially waved to her as he went past and she decided that she would stay, absorbing the message this added dimension brought. It was only later that she realised how much work and play had been the theme running through her musings (and indeed her life) at that time.
Speaking about the essence later, Beth radiated the most delicious bubbly joyful energy – like champagne! Light, sparkly, excited and humbled by the experience, she was glowing with the energy of the Linden Blossom. She felt the essence was a true tonic for the heart and the means to balance spontaneous joyful living and laughter, with productive and creative work - without the weariness and heavy sense of duty so often associated with it.
